Toyota says it has developed a new fuel-cell vehicle that can run for 516 miles on asingle tank of hydrogen. The car, which emits only water, has 25 percent better fuel efficiency than previous versions of Toyota fuel-cell vehicles. The car, known as the FCHV-adv, will be leased to Japanese government agencies starting later this year. Another fuel-cell vehicle, the FCX Clarity, will be leased in the US this summer.
